On Saturday I went out for dinner and drinks to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I have had this skirt for months (although it was re-released and I think it may be still available) and have never worn it so I was excited to wear it for the first time. I absolutely love it, I love the length and how high it sits on the waist. I think a bodycon midi skirt is a great alternative to a mini skirt or dress for a night out. I really liked how the cropped top looked with the long skirt.

 

I teamed the outfit with my River Island pale mint green and white heels as I liked how the pastel colour looked with the grey and white, but looking at the photographs I really like the ankle strap with the long skirt. I added lashings of gold with my watch and bracelets this statement necklace. I hadn’t yet posted this necklace although it is probably my favourite. It was a gift from Stiofán and I love that it’s a little bit different from many that are out now. I have worn it loads, usually over knitted sweaters.

 

I had a great night out and the outfit was very comfotable which is always a bonus.
