Have I mentioned how much I love wearing trainers lately? In and out of the gym, these Nike Frees are my new favourites. I absolutely love the shade, they’re so bright and fun. I purchased mine in JD Sports and from what I can see that’s pretty much the only place you can get them. They’re also kids trainers so you can only purchase them up to size UK size 5.5. You can find them here and in JD Sports stores nationwide.

I teamed them with these very pale, light-wash denim shorts from Topshop which are about four years old and still one of my favourite pairs. I would buy most of my denim shorts from Topshop and I have listed a light-wash, ripped pair above which are on my wishlist, I love them. I kept the outfit very basic with a V-neck t-shirt and a structured sleeveless blazer to contrast the look somewhat. For walking around and enjoying the sunshine trainers are a great substitute for sandals, and you can of course wear them with a smart outfit.
