You may remember this trench coat from a recent post, Mac ‘n Mules, which you can view here. I’ve been wearing it quite a lot lately in the evenings when the day get cooler and you need something to throw over you. A classic trench coat is a style staple in my view as it goes with everything and is so classic. As mine has quickly become a wardrobe staple, I really wanted to show another more laid back way in styling than before by teaming it with my adored New Balance kicks.  I love the look of a trench coat and trainers.

Denim cut-offs are my go-to trend for summer and these high-waisted black, distressed pair from River Island are my latest find. I love the washed-black look of them with slight distressing. They’re also really comfortable and sit high on the waist which I love. I teamed them with a charcoal tee from Zara and my Topshop lariat necklace to contrast with the sporty look.

Until next time,

nuala
